Daily Reflection

Ours is the God who makes promises and keeps them. At this point in the story of the Exodus that the psalmist recalls, it would have been perfectly reasonable for God to decide that this “stiff-necked people” wasn’t worth the hassle. And yet, from the moment God bound himself to the family of Abraham, the divine determination was set. There is nothing that will stop God from pursuing this world, until all things are redeemed.
