Season after Pentecost
“Grace to you and peace from him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven spirits who are before his throne, and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us and freed us from our sins by his blood, and made us to be a kingdom, priests serving his God and Father, to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.”
Revelation 1:4-6

We often meditate on the names of Jesus, such as Messiah, Redeemer, Son of God, Saviour. Spend some time with each of the following titles given in this passage from Revelation: the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, the ruler of the kings of the earth, the one who loves us, the one who freed us from our sins by his blood, the one who made us a kingdom of priests serving God. Which one does Jesus highlight for you to carry with you today as you live life with God?

O Holy One, who is, and was, and is to come, to You be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen
