Advent
“And it is by God’s will that we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.”
Hebrews 10:10

Our Amen, our “so be it” at the end of our exchanges with God, acknowledges the will of God. It’s not a holy period at the end of our spiritual sentences, but a faithful response that we abide with God, learning to heed God’s will, to follow Jesus’ way, to be caught up in the Holy Spirit. Jesus’ incarnation, his divine embodiment with us, is God’s mysterious will with which we reckon, celebrating and remembering the fullness of what this means for our life together now: Jesus came once for all. Amen. Amen. Amen.

On earth, where You came to be with us, and in heaven, Your realm into which we are invited, we pray, O God, that Your will happens, is happening, has happened, continues to happen, in us and through us by Your Holy Spirit and in the example of Jesus, Your Son. Amen
