Epiphany

“So it is with the resurrection of the dead. What is sown is perishable, what is raised is imperishable. It is sown in dishonour, it is raised in glory. It is sown in weakness, it is raised in power.”

1 Corinthians 15:42-43

Life with God is a life of transformation, trading dishonour for glory, weakness for power, death for life. Even if we see that transformation dimly in the light of this world, there will come a day when we will shine like the stars. That’s the future that shapes the present.

Lord, grant us eyes to see, ears to hear, and hearts to obey Your summons into life and life abundant. We offer You our frail selves, trusting that You will raise us to Your glory. Amen
